Case Study: A Ground-Up Website Rebuild in Under Two Months
How cross-functional synergy between Marketing and IT revitalized a corporate web presence and drove rapid conversions.
Client Background
The parent company’s primary website had been underperforming for years. Constrained by a rigid architecture left behind by a defunct agency, the brand required a comprehensive 2025 digital overhaul. The objective was to streamline the conversion funnel, clearly highlight corporate expertise, and establish a modern, scalable service architecture.
My Role
Served as Project Lead and Brand Manager. I developed the overarching graphic treatment to ensure brand consistency across the new digital footprint and authored the UI/UX documentation that bridged the gap between our creative and development teams.
The Challenge
The existing web presence suffered from low conversion rates and diminished brand recognizability. The dated user experience no longer reflected the company's rapid growth and market authority. We were tasked with modernizing the UX/UI while simultaneously optimizing the digital lead-generation pipeline under a highly compressed timeline.
Industry Insight
The Competition: The industry standard relies heavily on uninspired presentations filled with dense scientific jargon, often awkwardly paired with distracting animations or particle effects in a misguided attempt at visual appeal.
Our Opportunity: Transition away from the company's legacy dark, image-heavy presentation to a clean, minimalist visual language. We prioritized innovative UI design and strategic splashes of color, anchoring the interface with modern, bold, sans-serif typography to confidently reinforce the content rather than distract from it.
Strategic Solution
We established a highly cooperative, agile workflow between the internal Marketing and IT development teams. This cross-departmental alignment allowed us to break down traditional silos and seamlessly accelerate the pipeline from initial wireframes to final production within a strict 60-day timeline.
Execution
Spearheaded a blended operational approach, facilitating continuous consultation that allowed IT to advise on the technical feasibility of Marketing’s creative direction early in the process.
Directed UI designers to produce and supply on-brand, optimized assets in tandem with the ongoing development build, preventing bottlenecks.
Acted as the primary liaison for executive stakeholders, translating management’s requests for content and functionality into actionable technical sprints for the IT team.
Ensured total brand alignment from wireframe concepts through to the final staging and launch.
